Bhubaneswar, June 23: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha on July 4 for a one-day official tour, during which he will attend a series of government and organisational programmes.
During the visit, Shah is expected to participate in an event organised by the Cooperation Department, along with other official engagements. He is also likely to attend BJP organisational meetings and address party workers at different forums.
According to reports, the Home Minister will hold discussions on key organisational matters and provide strategic guidance to state BJP leaders and cadres. The visit is expected to include interactions aimed at strengthening the party’s organisational framework in the state.
Preparations for the high-profile visit have already begun, with the Odisha BJP unit making extensive arrangements. Security measures are also being strengthened across Bhubaneswar in view of the visit of the Union Home Minister.
Officials said detailed programmes and the complete itinerary will be shared closer to the date of the visit.
