Madhapur, June 26 {UDN}: A preparatory meeting was held at the Irrigation Project Bungalow in Manjor near Madhapur, Angul district, under the leadership of former minister Sanjib Kumar Sahu, to discuss arrangements for a series of programs to be organized by the BJP's Athmallik Assembly unit on June 26, marking the birthday of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The meeting was attended by former MLA Ramesh Chandra Sai, State Executive Member and former district president Dileswar Pradhan, district vice-president Anjali Pradhan, treasurer Biswajit Mishra, assembly coordinator Dr. Alekh Pradhan, former district general secretary Bhabani Prasad Jyotishray, former district secretary Chittaranjan Meher, MP representative Santosh Hota, Prakash Sahu, Madhapur Mandal president Antaryami Mahakud, and several senior BJP leaders and workers.
More than a hundred party members participated in the meeting. As part of the birthday celebrations, a lamp-lighting ceremony will be organized at the Nuagaon Temple under the Madhapur Mandal, praying for the long life and well-being of Dharmendra Pradhan.
A blood donation camp will also be organized in Madhapur. In addition, celebrations will be held to mark 12 years of the Modi government at the Centre and two years of the first BJP government in Odisha. Through special outreach programs, people will be informed about various welfare schemes and public-benefit initiatives implemented by the governments.
The meeting focused on ensuring the successful organization of these events and increasing public awareness about government development and welfare programs.
