Bhubaneswar,  Oct 19 [UDN}:Public awareness, community participation and the elimination of misconceptions are crucial in the fight against tuberculosis (TB).

Through the JOSH (Joint Squad for Health) initiative, young volunteers are actively raising awareness among people about tuberculosis, encouraging open discussions about the disease, promoting early detection and emphasizing the importance of timely and appropriate treatment.

The volunteers are working to dispel myths and reduce the stigma associated with TB, motivating people to seek medical assistance without hesitation. Their efforts aim to improve community understanding of the disease and encourage individuals to recognize symptoms early and access healthcare services promptly.

This community-driven initiative is strengthening collective efforts towards building a TB-free India by bringing people together, promoting health awareness and encouraging active public participation in the fight against tuberculosis.
