Bhubaneswar, Aug 24 [UDN}:A high-level review meeting on the state’s law and order situation, crime control, and police administration was held at the State Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of State Director General of Police (DGP) Binayatosh Mishra.
The meeting included a detailed discussion on the current law and order situation across Odisha, along with various administrative matters related to policing.
Senior police officials reviewed the prevailing security scenario, measures for effective crime prevention and control, and the overall functioning of the police administration.
Discussions also focused on strengthening the policing system, improving coordination among different units, and ensuring a prompt and effective response to emerging law-and-order challenges.
The meeting emphasized maintaining peace, public safety, and security across the state and taking appropriate measures to further strengthen law enforcement mechanisms.
