Koraput ,Sept 10 [UDN}: A review meeting of the District Urban Development Agency (DUDA), Koraput, was held under the chairmanship of the Koraput District Collector. The meeting focused on reviewing the overall progress of various urban development initiatives being implemented across the district and assessing the status of ongoing projects.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the implementation of different development programmes, the progress of infrastructure and civic improvement works, and the delivery of essential urban services to residents. The District Collector reviewed the progress of projects undertaken through the urban development agency and emphasized the need for timely completion of all ongoing works while maintaining quality and transparency.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of effective coordination among the concerned departments and agencies to ensure that development activities are carried out smoothly and that the intended benefits reach the people at the grassroots level. Officials were directed to closely monitor the progress of projects, address any issues or bottlenecks promptly, and take necessary measures to accelerate pending works.
The District Collector stressed that urban development initiatives should be implemented in a planned and people-oriented manner, with special emphasis on improving basic civic amenities, strengthening urban infrastructure, and ensuring better services for the residents of Koraput district.
The review meeting concluded with directions to the concerned officials to maintain regular monitoring of all projects and ensure that development works are completed within the stipulated timelines for the benefit of the people.
