Nabarangpur, Sept 10 [UDN}:: Four talented teachers from Nabarangpur district have been selected to receive the Chief Minister’s Education Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the field of education. Along with teachers, meritorious students and schools from the district have also been identified as eligible for various categories of the prestigious awards.
Among the selected awardees, Puriba Pariba, a teacher of PM SHRI Ramiti Nodal High School, has been chosen as the Best Sports Teacher in the Secondary Education category. Amlan Nath has been selected as the Best Mathematics Teacher in the Secondary Education category.
Similarly, Badrinarayan Biswal of Muchidhalua UG High School has been selected as the Best General Science Teacher, while Shravan Kumar Debata of M. Keragaon High School has been chosen as the Best Third-Language Teacher.
The district has also been recognised in the school categories. Kosagumuda Secondary High School has been selected as the Best Secondary School, while Government Primary School, Sankusumi, has been chosen as the Best Primary School. A government school has also been selected under the Student Merit-cum-Scholarship category.
The awardees are expected to be felicitated on September 5, Teachers’ Day, in recognition of their dedication, academic excellence and contribution towards improving the quality of education in the district.
