Jeypore:July 6 {UDN}:The construction of the new chariot is progressing steadily in Jeypore. This year, devotees will witness cart-shaped wheels fitted with ironwork, crafted in the same style and dimensions as the chariots in Puri.
The new design reflects traditional craftsmanship while enhancing the chariot's strength and durability. Local artisans are working with great dedication to complete the construction ahead of the annual Rath Yatra. The initiative aims to bring Jeypore's celebration closer to the grandeur and heritage of Puri's world-famous festival.
