Nabarangpur, Aug 5 [UDN}:: Bishwanath Panigrahi, Section Officer of the Dabugaon Tahasil Office, retired from government service today.
As his final pension proposal had already been approved before his scheduled date of retirement, he received all the necessary documents related to his final pension on the very day of his retirement. It is being considered the first such instance in the revenue cadre of Nabarangpur district, where an employee’s final pension was approved before the retirement date and the pension papers were handed over on the retirement day itself.
On this occasion, Additional District Collector (General) Dr. Pramod Kumar Prusti and Additional District Collector (Revenue) Biswajit Barman felicitated Shri Panigrahi by presenting him with bouquets and traditional shawls.
Deputy Collector Samina Akhtari, departmental officer Jagannath Mahapatra, Pension Dealing Assistant Debashish Suar, along with other officers and employees of the office, were present at the programme.
