New Rs 24.91-Crore Bridge to Come Up Over Gangua Drain, Promising Improved Connectivity and Easier Commuting for Residents of Khordha and Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar,  Sept 10 [UDN}:A new bridge will be constructed over the Gangua Drain to improve connectivity between NH-316 and Kapileswar. The Public Works Department (PWD) has granted administrative approval for the bridge construction project on the Gangua left embankment, with an estimated project cost of ₹24 crore 91 lakh 42 thousand.

The proposed bridge is expected to significantly improve transportation and make daily commuting more convenient for people in the surrounding areas. Once completed, it will provide better connectivity between NH-316 and Kapileswar and strengthen the local road network.

The project is also expected to contribute to the overall development of the area by improving transport infrastructure, accessibility and connectivity. The initiative is being seen as an important step toward strengthening road infrastructure for the growing needs of Khordha and Bhubaneswar.
