Bhubaneswar, Sept 10 [UDN}: The seventh session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence on September 22 and continue until October 3. The session will have a total of nine working days, during which important legislative and administrative matters are expected to be discussed and debated in the House.
According to the schedule, Assembly proceedings will remain suspended on September 26 and 27 due to government holidays. Similarly, there will be no House business on October 2 on account of Gandhi Jayanti.
With the session spread across nearly two weeks but interrupted by holidays, the Assembly will have nine effective working days for legislative business. Members are expected to raise various issues concerning the state and participate in discussions on matters of public importance during the session.
