Bhubaneswar, Sept 10 [UDN}:The Mohan Charan Majhi-led Odisha Government is committed to ensuring better infrastructure, a clean and healthy environment, and quality civic amenities for citizens. As part of this vision, the State Government has announced a special development package of ₹1,560 crore for the comprehensive development of 28 newly constituted Notified Area Councils (NACs) across Odisha.
The special package is aimed at accelerating urban development and strengthening essential civic infrastructure in these newly formed NACs. The initiatives are expected to improve basic public services and create better living conditions for residents by addressing key infrastructure and development requirements.
In addition, 593 development projects worth ₹1,323 crore have been launched across 62 urban areas of the state. These projects are intended to strengthen urban infrastructure and improve the quality of civic facilities available to people.
The government has emphasised that these initiatives are part of its broader commitment to building people-centric urban infrastructure, cleaner surroundings and improved public amenities.
The message is clear: under the “people’s government,” development is being focused on creating better infrastructure and ensuring improved services and facilities for citizens across Odisha.
