Bhubaneswar, Sept 10 [UDN}:Under the Chief Minister’s Urban Development Scheme, infrastructure development works are being accelerated across various urban local bodies in Odisha. Through this initiative, priority is being given to improving the quality of roads, developing modern drainage systems, ensuring the supply of clean and safe drinking water, and upgrading and beautifying public spaces across cities and towns.
The scheme aims to strengthen urban infrastructure and improve basic civic amenities for residents. Better roads are expected to enhance connectivity and ease traffic movement, while modern drainage systems will help address waterlogging and improve sanitation. At the same time, efforts are being made to ensure reliable access to clean drinking water and create cleaner, greener and more attractive public spaces.
