Nabarangpur, June 23 {UDN}: A Public Grievance Hearing Camp was organized today in the conference hall of the Chandahandi Panchayat Samiti under the joint chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate (General) Dr. Pramod Kumar Prusti and Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Umerkote) Shubhendu Kumar Sabar.
The camp was attended by Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad B. Ranchi Narayan Darwan, Additional Sub-Collector Sarat Kumar Majhi, Block Development Officer Chainu Gand, Tahasildar Sahadev Kutuka, and other district-level departmental officers, who listened to the grievances and concerns of the public.
A total of 99 applicants submitted their grievance petitions during the hearing. Of these, 48 applications were related to individual issues, while 14 applications concerned village-level and community-related problems. The officials reviewed the petitions and initiated steps for their resolution through the concerned departments.
On the occasion, financial assistance was sanctioned to one beneficiary from the Red Cross Fund for medical treatment.
The public grievance hearing camp provided an important platform for citizens to directly present their problems before the district administration, ensuring prompt attention and effective redressal of public issues.
