Bhubaneswar, July 6 (UDN): Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced that more than 300 special trains will be operated for the upcoming Puri Rath Yatra to facilitate smooth movement of devotees.
The announcement was made during an event at Rail Sadan in Bhubaneswar. The special services are aimed at handling the expected surge in passenger traffic and ensuring better connectivity to Puri during the annual festival.
Railway officials said preparations are underway to manage large crowds and provide efficient travel arrangements for pilgrims, with additional focus on crowd control and operational safety during the event.
