Puri, July 27 Padma Shri awardee and renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a special sand sculpture at Puri Beach to mark the auspicious occasions of Niladri Bije and Rasagola Dibasa.

The 7-foot sand artwork depicts Lord Jagannath offering Rasagola to Goddess Lakshmi, symbolising love, devotion and the traditional bond associated with the concluding ritual of Rath Yatra.
The unique sand sculpture attracted devotees and tourists at Puri Beach, showcasing Odisha’s rich cultural heritage and the spiritual significance of the Niladri Bije tradition.
Through his artwork, Sudarsan Pattnaik highlighted the timeless tradition of Lord Jagannath’s return to the Shree Jagannath Temple and the special offering of Rasagola to Goddess Lakshmi on this sacred occasion.
