Kashipur, June 23 {UDN}: Baikuntha Duria, a social worker and journalist from Kashipur block, has been honoured with the Best Blood Donor Award for his remarkable contribution to blood donation activities.
The award was presented during the observance of World Blood Donor Day at the Odisha Blood Centre located in the District Headquarters Hospital, Rayagada. Senior officials of the CRPF and blood bank authorities attended the programme as guests.
On the occasion, Mr. Duria was recognized for his continuous contribution to blood donation and his dedicated humanitarian service. He has donated blood more than 20 times to help patients during emergencies and has consistently motivated others to come forward and donate blood.
His efforts have not only saved lives but have also helped create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation in society. The honour reflects his commitment to serving humanity and supporting those in need during critical situations.
