Puri: July 15 [UDN}:After a gap of 15 days, Lord Jagannath, lovingly known as Kalia Thakur, appeared before the devotees once again. Adorned in the sacred Nabajaubana Besha (the youthful attire), the deities granted darshan to thousands of devotees in the holy city of Puri.
A massive surge of devotees thronged Shrikshetra to catch a glimpse of the divine siblings ahead of the grand Rath Yatra celebrations. The atmosphere in Puri turned deeply spiritual as chants of "Jai Jagannath" echoed across the temple town.
The Nabajaubana Darshan marks the first public appearance of the deities after the completion of the Anasara period, during which the Lords remain away from public view for ritual recuperation.
Devotees from different parts of Odisha and across the country gathered in large numbers to witness this auspicious occasion and seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra.
