Bhubaneswar:Sept 10 [UDN}: Speculation has intensified over a possible expansion of the Union Council of Ministers, with indications that two to three Members of Parliament from Odisha could potentially be inducted into the Union Cabinet or given ministerial responsibilities.

Senior BJP leader and former MP Pradeep Purohit has made a significant statement in this regard, adding to the growing political discussion surrounding a possible reshuffle or expansion of the Union Cabinet. According to Purohit, there is a possibility that two to three MPs from Odisha may find a place in the Union government if the proposed cabinet expansion takes place.

The possibility of greater representation for Odisha in the Narendra Modi-led Union Government has generated considerable political interest in the state. If the expansion materialises and Odisha gets additional ministerial representation, it could be seen as an important development for the state and its political leadership at the Centre.

Purohit’s remarks have triggered fresh speculation within political circles about which Odisha MPs could be considered for inclusion in the Union Council of Ministers. However, no official confirmation has so far been issued regarding the names of the MPs or the exact timing and structure of any cabinet expansion.

The possibility of the inclusion of two to three Odisha MPs is therefore being closely watched by political observers, as any such move could have significant political implications for the state.
