Youth Power Is Our Main Force”: Chief Minister Calls for Greater Participation of Young People in Odisha’s Development and Nation-Building

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 24 [UDN}:Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi addressed the people on the occasion of Independence Day.
The Chief Minister paid heartfelt tribute to the freedom fighters who made immense sacrifices for India’s independence.
He said that the story of India’s freedom struggle remains incomplete without acknowledging the people’s movements and contributions from Odisha.
The sacrifices and contributions of the freedom fighters will always remain memorable and inspire future generations.
The Chief Minister said that, over the past 80 years, India has continued to move steadily forward on its journey of development and progress.
He described the past one year as an extremely eventful period for the country, marked by several important developments and challenges.
However, he said that under the right and decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has continued to move on the right path.
He highlighted the visionary policies of Prime Minister Modi over the past 12 years, saying that these policies have helped take the country forward on the path of development and growth.
The Chief Minister also highlighted improvements in healthcare, saying that poor and economically weaker people are now able to receive treatment in private hospitals through government-supported healthcare facilities.
He asserted that the country is secure under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and that national security remains a priority.
Emphasising the importance of young people, the Chief Minister said that youth power is the main force and frontline strength in building a developed India.
He called upon the youth to actively contribute to the nation’s progress, development and transformation and play a leading role in achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
