Bhubaneswar, July 2: The Odisha government has initiated the process of preparing and printing revised school textbooks following concerns over errors in the current editions.

A high-level review meeting was held at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) headquarters in Bhubaneswar to discuss corrective measures and the preparation of updated textbooks for students.

Officials stated that the process aims to ensure accuracy, quality, and standardisation in school learning materials. The revision exercise follows recent discussions over reported errors in textbooks, prompting the need for corrective action.

The government has directed concerned authorities to expedite the revision process so that updated textbooks can be made available to students at the earliest.
